Parker Day, LPC
Hi, I’m Parker Day! I founded this practice to be a space where people feel safe enough to be honest, curious, and even a little messy as they grow.
My work is rooted in an integrative approach, pulling from Feminist Theory , Polyvagal Theory, Somatic practices, and Narrative Therapy. What that means in practice is that I view each client through a lens that honors your lived experiences, your body’s wisdom, and the power of your personal story.
My main approach, Feminist Theory, to be clear- does not mean what it sounds like it means. Feminist Theory is for all genders and is rooted in challenging the things we have learned from society (family, culture, media, etc.). Challenging these conditioned values, chewing on them, and ultimately deciding in a safe space what feels congruent with who you are and what no longer feels congruent.
At the heart of my work is a belief in affirmation and empowerment. I strive to validate your feelings while also offering gentle challenges when it can help you grow. Therapy with me isn’t about passively listening—it’s about creating a dynamic, supportive relationship where we can explore, question, and discover together.
During my pre-licensure, I trained with Bridger Peaks and OhHi, experiences that deepened my appreciation for both traditional and innovative therapeutic techniques. My goal is to help you build tolerance in your body for the hard stuff so you can move toward resilience, self-trust, and new insights. Together, we might use breath work, art, or creative exercises to expand your coping toolbox, while also learning how to quiet those loud inner critics that so often get in the way.
I also believe that healing doesn’t have to be heavy all the time. A little humor can go a long way, and I’m not afraid to bring lightness into the room when it helps balance the process.
Most of all, I want anyone who walks through my door to feel that they belong here—that this is a space where you are safe, supported, and free to discover who you are becoming.
